Job summary

AZ Therapy Services for KIDS, LLC seeks a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our school-based team for the 2026-2027 year. You will collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop and implement individualized plans, deliver direct PT services in both individual and small-group settings, and adapt classroom environments to support accessibility.

Ideal candidates will have a valid Arizona PTA license and IVP fingerprint clearance, with prior pediatric or school-based experience

Qualifications

Arizona PTA license is required.
Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance required.
Experience in school-based pediatric therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
Adapt classroom environments, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ care.
Document student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students.
Stay up to date on current research, evidence based practices, and relevant policies in school-based physical therapy.
