AZ Therapy Services for KIDS, LLC seeks a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our school-based team for the 2026-2027 year. You will collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop and implement individualized plans, deliver direct PT services in both individual and small-group settings, and adapt classroom environments to support accessibility.

Ideal candidates will have a valid Arizona PTA license and IVP fingerprint clearance, with prior pediatric or school-based experience

Qualifications

• Arizona PTA license is required.
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance required.
• Experience in school-based pediatric therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
• Adapt classroom environments, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ care.
• Document student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students.
• Stay up to date on current research, evidence based practices, and relevant policies in school-based physical therapy.
