Leaps and Bounds Pediatric Therapy in Norco, CA seeks a licensed Certified Physical Therapist Assistant to join a multidisciplinary outpatient team providing PT, OT, and SLP services. The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, home programs, and collaboration with clinicians to help children reach goals.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid California PTA License.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Clear Livescan
• TB Test
• CPR Healthcare Provider Card
• Availability must include until 7pm during weekdays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player
• Desire to continue to grow as a professional
• Regularly stand, bend, stoop, lift and move intermittently during shifts; able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull over 100lbs

Responsibilities

• Help patients accomplish goals outlined in treatment plans and assist with therapeutic activities.
• Administer physical therapy treatments and apply therapeutic modalities.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust plans with supervising PT.
• Design and instruct home exercise programs for patients and families.
• Document care in patient records and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinic environment and follow infection-control policies.
• Ensure equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Continuing education and collaboration with team to support pediatric goals.
