Job summary

MedCare Pediatric, a trusted pediatric home health provider, seeks a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one therapy in homes, schools, and daycares. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Texas PTA license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, and independence.
• Educate families on exercises, positioning, mobility, and home programs.
• Monitor progress and report updates to the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
