Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, schools, and daycares.

You’ll work under a licensed PT, implement treatment plans, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. We offer flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN), competitive hourly pay, and benefits to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Pediatric home health experience preferred.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Texas PTA license or eligible by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist per plan of care.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, range of motion, endurance, gait and functional independence.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on exercises, positioning, mobility techniques and home programs.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
