Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one therapy in the child’s home, daycare, or school environments. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling and a supportive, growth-oriented team culture focused on high-quality pediatric care.

Qualified candidates have PTA education, Texas licensure (or eligibility), and preferably one year of pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Texas PTA license, or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on exercises and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT.
