Job summary

THERAPY 2000 seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our Austin division, serving a North Austin area with potential visits to Round Rock/ Pflugerville or Cedar Park/Leander. The role focuses on home-based pediatric PT to help children gain mobility and independence in daily activities.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team, providing family-centered care and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist.
Experience in a home-health setting.
Specialty certifications (example: PCS).
Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
Develop home exercise programs with caregivers.
Coordinate care with other providers and disciplines.
Complete minimum patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, and logs.
Attend meetings to align with agency expectations on high-quality care.
Adhere to agency policies, procedures, ethics, and laws for home-health pediatric PT.
