Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide outpatient pediatric services. You will assess, treat, and educate children with sports injuries, brain injuries, motor delays, and other pediatric conditions, and coordinate care with families and the care team.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing home programs, and documenting per department policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Pediatric experience and/or developmental or sports experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• State license for physical therapy or eligibility for licensure in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric physical therapy focusing on functional skills to enhance development and restore function.
• Perform evaluation, treatment and home programming for pediatric patients with sports injuries, brain injuries, neuromuscular conditions, and other pediatric disorders.
• Educate patients and caregivers and coordinate with other professionals, clinics and agencies within Cook Children’s Health Care System and the community.
• Document and communicate according to department and system policies.
