Job summary

The Physical Therapist at Cook Children's Rehabilitation Center in Fort Worth provides skilled, patient-centered care to children and families, working within a collaborative team to meet identified needs with evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include assessment and direct treatment across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, neurological, respiratory, developmental and pain domains, with emphasis on customer relations and sound clinical judgment in a First Shift schedule (40 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment required.
• State license for Physical Therapy or licensure eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent, skilled Physical Therapy care to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to meet identified needs using evidence-based practice.

Summary

The Physical Therapist will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. The Physical Therapist will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. The Physical Therapist assesses and implements direct service for patients for the following: musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, neurological, respiratory, developmental and pain disorders.

Qualifications
