Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Inpatient Staff Occupational Therapist for pediatric in-patient services on a part-time basis. You will focus on functional skills to restore development and prevent disability in an acute medical setting, evaluating and treating children with diverse conditions.

You will provide home programming guidance, caregiver education, and collaborate with medical professionals, clinics, and community agencies, following department policies

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in OT.
• Pediatric and/or Developmental experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• State license for occupational therapy or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient OT services focusing on functional skills.
• Evaluate, treat and develop home programming for pediatric patients.
• Educate caregivers and collaborate with medical staff and community clinics.
• Document services according to department and system policies.
