Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy for children with special needs. The role involves evaluating patients, guiding caregivers, and coordinating with care teams to promote progress in a home-based setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current state-issued professional license.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family training.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and families to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
