Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Georgia. The role supports youth in residential settings, providing essential medical care and health education.

You will document care in an EMR, collaborate with medical professionals, and participate in ongoing health programs for staff and residents. The position requires an active LPN license, a valid state license, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• LPN diploma and active state nursing license required.
• Experience in pediatric or psychiatric settings preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides first aid to youth who become ill or injured.
• Maintains medical charts on assigned youth.
• Works with consulting medical professionals to service all medical needs.
• Develops and facilitates educational programs for youth and Youth Villages staff.
• Completes daily documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
