Job summary

St. Augustine Youth Services Inc is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join the Residential team in St. Augustine, FL.

The LPN will provide nursing services to youth in a residential behavioral health setting, manage medications, and support health-related needs of the youth while collaborating with staff and families. The ideal candidate will have an active Florida LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with children or behavioral health settings.

Qualifications

• Current Florida LPN license in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with children/adolescents in behavioral health is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to trauma-informed care for youth.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor health status, med effects, and adverse reactions.
• Provide nursing care for illness/injury and health concerns.
• Complete health assessments and maintain nursing records.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, hospitals, and caregivers.
