Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Night Sleep Lab Technologist to perform polysomnography and neurological testing for diverse patient groups in a 12-hour night shift role. You will monitor, record, and interpret data to aid physicians in diagnosing sleep/wake disorders.

The role requires knowledge of testing equipment, patient safety, and compliance with AASM standards, with opportunities for professional growth and continued education within Sanford Health's pediatric sleep lab.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, Respiratory Technology or related medical specialty.
• Minimum two years of related Sleep Disorders experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sleep disorders, electrical safety, and data gathering for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform Sleep Study Procedures or Neurological Testing for all patient populations.
• Understand and operate testing equipment; perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Monitor and document in medical records per facility guidelines.
• Adhere to American Academy of Sleep Medicine standards and accreditations.
• Educate patients on prescribed therapies and sleep testing; follow up as needed.
