Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team. The role involves performing sleep study procedures and neurological testing across diverse patient populations, with focus on AASM standards and patient education.

Candidates should graduate from an accredited ENDT or Respiratory Tech program and be BRPT eligible. North Dakota licensure and continuing education are required. Sanford offers competitive benefits and a strong service culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or Respiratory Technology.
• Possess basic knowledge of sleep disorders, electrical safety, with the skill to utilize computers for patient documentation and data gathering for patient care.
• Eligible to register with the BRPT, or eligible to register with AASM.

Responsibilities

• Perform Sleep Study Procedures or Neurological Testing for all patient populations.
• Understand testing equipment, structure, function, indications for use, and basic maintenance/troubleshooting procedures.
• Monitor and document in the medical record per facility guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of AASM standards and accreditation.
• Educate patients on prescribed therapies and sleep testing and follow up as needed.
• Work with all age groups including special populations.
