Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our Port St John, Florida practice. The role offers a 4–4.5 day work week with a 1:4 Saturday rotation and strong clinical support.

Qualified candidates will hold an MD or DO, have or obtain Florida licensure, and be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics, with BLS and PALS as required for hospital appointments. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board eligibility/certification in Pediatrics.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or the ability to obtain.
• DEA license in Florida or ability to obtain.
• Board eligibility or board certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training.
• Meets requirements for medical staff privileges and BLS certification.
• PALS may be required for hospital appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care at Port St John location.
• Collaborate with a team of pediatricians, NPs and PAs.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and safety standards.
• Participate in scheduling with a 4–4.5 day work week and a 1:4 Saturday rotation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and CME opportunities.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
