Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our Sanford/Deltona practice in Florida. This role features a flexible schedule, J1-eligible site, sign-on bonus, and no weekend or call obligations.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• BLS and PALS as required for hospital appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care at the Sanford/Deltona location.
• Conduct well-child visits, vaccines and acute care visits.
• Collaborate with nurses, NPs/PAs and administrative staff.
• Maintain licensure and board certification requirements.
• Support NHSC program eligibility and related initiatives.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required


• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics


• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida


• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida


• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training


• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required


• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
