Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a full-time outpatient pediatrician to join our Clearwater, Florida practice. The role includes newborn rounding and strong clinical support while serving children from newborns to adolescents.

Spanish-speaking preferred; J1-eligible site with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. You will work with a team of Board-Certified Pediatricians and NP/PA staff to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in Pediatrics and board eligibility/certification within five years of training.
• Current Florida license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license in Florida or ability to obtain.
• BLS required; PALS as required for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care at a Clearwater site.
• Perform newborn rounding as scheduled (1:4 days).
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support families.
• Build lasting relationships with patients and families.

Physician

• M .D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
