Pediatric Associates is seeking a full-time outpatient pediatrician to join our Miami, FL practice. Our team delivers high-quality pediatric healthcare with a compassionate approach and maintains a large, nationwide network.

The role includes rotated newborn rounding and no on-call duties in a medically underserved location; Spanish bilingual is required. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid holidays, CME

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board eligible or board certified in pediatrics within five years.
• Unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain one.
• Current BLS required; PALS as required for hospital appointments.

Responsibilities

• Full-time schedule.
• Rotated newborn rounding at Jackson North and Memorial Regional.
• No call schedule.
• EMR: eClinical Works.
• Medically underserved location - J1 eligible.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
