Pediatric Associates in St. Johns, Florida is seeking a full-time Pediatrician to join our Bartram Park practice. This outpatient role supports a large network of pediatric care with a strong commitment to families, community health, and patient-centered services.

The position offers flexible scheduling, newborn rounding with weekend hospital coverage, and a competitive benefits package. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available, with malpractice coverage, CME opportunities, and a 401(k) plan

Qualifications

• Spanish speaking ability is preferred.
• MD or DO degree required; pediatrics residency required.
• Active or eligible Florida medical license; DEA license.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years of training.
• BLS required; PALS as hospital appointment requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care.
• Participate in newborn rounding and weekend hospital coverage.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and specialists to coordinate care.
• Maintain licensure and board certification; participate in CME activities.

Position Overview:

• Full-time Outpatient Opportunity
• Proposed Schedule:
  • 3 Days 8am-5pm
  • 1 Day 8am-7pm
  • 2:4 Saturdays 8am-12pm
  • Newborn Rounding
• Shared weekend rounding on our newborn patients at area hospitals

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post‑graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatricswithin five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
