Job summary

Therapy 2000 in Texas provides pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy through home visits to help children grow and thrive in familiar environments. We seek a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant to join a mission-driven team focused on compassionate care and collaboration.

You will deliver PT treatments under a supervising therapist, develop home exercise programs, coordinate with families and other providers, and help meet agency goals while upholding regulatory

Qualifications

• Current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas.
• Innovative spirit and reliability.
• Flexibility to shift priorities as needed.
• 3+ years as a pediatric PTA.
• Experience in home-health settings.
• PTO, health insurance, and 401k eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments under supervising PT goals and plans.
• Develop home exercise programs with patients' caregivers.
• Coordinate care among providers and disciplines.
• Complete minimum weekly patient visits as required.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates and progress notes.
• Engage with agency personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

• A current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments under Supervising Physical Therapist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.
