THERAPY 2000 is a mission-driven home-health provider in Texas, offering pediatric speech, occupational and physical therapy. As a pediatric physical therapist, you will help children grow and thrive in the comfort of their homes, supporting families across the state since 2000.

You will perform comprehensive PT evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with caregivers and other clinicians. The role requires a Texas license, flexibility, and a dedication to high-quality pediatric

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Collaborate and coordinate care between providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).

Bonus points for:

• 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist
• Experience in a home-health setting
• Specialty Certifications (example: PCS)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.
