Job summary

Isaac School District is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to screen, evaluate, and provide educationally relevant therapy for students in the district. The role involves developing and implementing therapy programs focusing on head control, trunk control, balance, neurodevelopment sequencing, and gait under the school system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy and two years of experience with special needs children or equivalent combination.
• CPT Certification and Arizona State Board license required.
• Experience with IEPs and multidisciplinary teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates students who qualify for physical therapy services.
• Develops and implements educationally relevant PT programs and activities (head/trunk control, balance, gait).
• Sits on Child Study Team and Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team to assist in eligibility decisions.
• Works with educational team to develop the IEP and write objectives.
• Sets goals for each student and tracks progress per the handbook.
• Collaborates with teachers, families, and others to support therapy activities.
• Assists with fabricating and adjusting adaptive equipment to meet objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
