Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct therapy services to admitted patients. You will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment modalities, educate patients and families, and document progress for continuity of care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, active state licensure, and BLS. Schedule is 40 hours per week with occasional weekend coverage; pay range is $38.20–$57.30 per hour; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy program required.
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to patients seven days a week.
• Evaluate patients and establish care plans including modalities and education.
• Document evaluations, tests, progress notes, discharge notes, and charges as needed.
• Communicate patient’s evaluation and progress to physician and care team; coordinate schedule and discharge planning.
• Supervise PTA and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
