Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct and administer inpatient PT programs in an acute setting, referred by physicians, to restore function and maximize independence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, NC licensure, and BLS; 40-hour work week with weekend coverage, and the opportunity for premium pay and annual pay increases within Advocate Health's Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• NC license for Physical Therapy is required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct therapy services to patients seven days a week, including holidays.
• Evaluates patients and develops comprehensive treatment plans.
• Documents evaluations, treatments, progress notes and discharge plans.
• Communicates patient progress with physicians, referral sources and clinical staff.
• Coordinates patient schedules, treatment programs and discharge planning.
