Job summary

Pediastaff is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in New Albany, IN. You will evaluate and treat children from birth through 21 in a supportive, clinician-led setting that values families and teamwork.

Whether you are an experienced clinician or a new graduate, you’ll receive exceptional mentorship and flexible scheduling options, with a caseload that emphasizes individualized care and meaningful outcomes for kids.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license (or pursuing licensure).
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship and support.

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate children birth to age 21 with diverse congenital, developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
• Improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions, gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to help children achieve meaningful developmental and functional outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to maximize each child's success.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services that support participation at home, school, and within the community.
• Maintain professional and technical competencies while upholding licensure, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete timely documentation, progress reporting, and family education as part of comprehensive pediatric care.
