PediaStaff is assisting a leading pediatric therapy provider in Louisville, KY, seeking a Physical Therapist to join a child-centered outpatient team. The role welcomes both experienced clinicians and new graduates, with mentorship and a supportive environment to thrive.

Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of children from birth to 21, collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team, and delivering evidence-based pediatric care in a clinic setting with flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive exceptional mentorship and support.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat children with physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Examine and evaluate children birth through age 21 with congenital, developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
• Improve mobility with gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to help children achieve meaningful developmental and functional outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to maximize each child's success.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services that support participation at home, school, and within the community.
• Maintain professional and technical competencies while upholding state licensure, ethical, and regulatory requirements; complete timely documentation and progress reports.
