Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is hiring licensed Physical Therapists to deliver home-based Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers and their families.

You will assess development, implement the IFSP, coach families in everyday routines, and work in homes, daycares, and community settings with flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; sign-on bonus up to $1000 and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• California PT license (DPT) required.
• Pediatric/Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide PT services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA/state/federal).
