Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to deliver home-based early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental needs. You will conduct developmental PT assessments, work with families under IFSP plans, and coach caregivers to support progress in natural environments.

The role offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and eligibility for benefits. Prior pediatric EI exposure and Spanish language ability are advantages.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license required for practice.
• Pediatric/early intervention experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide PT services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and help families develop strategies to meet developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, including homes, daycares and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
