Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers in their homes and community settings. You will assess development, implement PT plans, and collaborate with families using the Parent Coaching Model.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license is required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to set developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (home, daycare, community settings).
• Perform re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
