Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to serve infants and toddlers in home and community settings across California.

You will implement PT plans under the IFSP, coach families using the Parent Coaching Model, and support developmental progress in natural environments. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $1,000, mileage reimbursement, flexible schedules, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• CA Physical Therapy license or eligibility in California.
• Pediatric experience preferred (Early Intervention).
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
