Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold current NY PT license.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP/IFSP processes a plus.
• Ability to develop and adjust plans of care.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT per IEP/IFSP mandates and physician orders.
• Coordinate treatment plans with family, teachers, and staff to ensure carryover.
• Treat patients to restore function using PT modalities.
• Observe and report patient responses and condition changes to team.
• Instruct families and staff in PT techniques and caregiver training.
• Evaluate and regularly re-evaluate rehabilitation needs and care plans.
