Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a passionate Early Intervention School-Based Physical Therapist to work with infants and toddlers in St. Mary's County, MD.

The therapist will assess motor development, implement IFSPs, and provide direct PT services in homes and community settings. Requirements include MD licensure, and a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with experience in pediatric early intervention.

Qualifications

• Must hold a MD physical therapy license.
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Educator Certificate (if applicable).
• Experience with infants/toddlers in early intervention or pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive motor development assessments for infants and toddlers.
• Develop and implement IFSPs to address identified goals.
• Provide direct pediatric PT services in homes and community settings.
• Collaborate with families and professionals for holistic care.
• Educate families with techniques to promote development.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and sessions.
• Stay current with pediatric PT best practices.
