Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Supervisor Physical Therapist to oversee pediatric home health therapy services. The role involves evaluating and directing PT therapy in patients' homes, coordinating with families and care teams, and promoting evidence-based practices while mentoring new staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Physical Therapy, a current state license, CPR certification, and a willingness to lead in a community-focused setting. Home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state-issued professional license is required.
• Valid state driver license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
• Home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer pediatric physical therapy in home health settings.
• Direct patients and caregivers in selected tasks to restore or enhance performance.
• Coordinate care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and document progress with physicians.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and participate in QA/PI activities.
• Mentor students and new hires and participate in professional activities.

Education
