Elliot Health System is seeking a phlebotomist to collect, verify orders, label, handle, transport, and document patient specimens across various locations. The role emphasizes patient comfort and safety, with routine and advanced venipuncture across age groups.

Candidates should have phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma; phlebotomy training is preferred. Knowledge of MS Office is a plus. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsabilidades

• Identify patient at collection time and label specimens in the presence of the patient.
• Perform routine and advanced venipuncture according to department standards.
• Perform routine and stat capillary collections for all age groups.
• Communicate instructions for blood and non-blood specimen collection and handling.
• Complete computerized clerical duties, verify and place orders, obtain work lists, and document collections.
