Elliot Health System is seeking a phlebotomist with prior venipuncture experience to join our clinical laboratory team. The role involves specimen collection, labeling, transport, documentation, and order verification across multiple patient settings. You will ensure patient comfort, safety, and accurate sample handling.

Education: high school diploma required; phlebotomy training preferred; MS Office knowledge. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Certification not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient before collection and label specimens.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections across settings.
• Explain blood collection and handling instructions to patients.
• Record orders, verify information, and document collections.
• Prepare specimens for processing and ensure timely delivery.
