Elliot Health System is seeking a phlebotomist with prior venipuncture experience to join our clinical laboratory team. The role involves specimen collection, labeling, transport, documentation, and order verification across multiple patient settings. You will ensure patient comfort, safety, and accurate sample handling.
Education: high school diploma required; phlebotomy training preferred; MS Office knowledge. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Certification not required.
The phlebotomist is responsible for the collection, ordering verification, labeling, handling, transportation, and documentation of patient specimens in a variety of locations. Ensures that both the patient and the laboratory are provided with all necessary information, and that the patient is comfortable and safe.
