The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Phlebotomist in Monroe, NY. Schedule includes Mon–Thu 9:00am–6:30pm and Fri 9:00am–1:00pm. Duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Pediatric experience is required, and benefits are available.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data maintenance, and ensuring proper transport and storage. Training, OSHA/DEP compliance, and quality checks are part of daily duties.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures accurately.
• Label specimens and ensure proper specimen handling.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate work areas and update patient information as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and explain any required steps.
