Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Phlebotomist to assist with blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and specimen handling in Monroe, NY. Pediatric experience is preferred, and the role supports 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, maintaining accurate records, and explaining the venipuncture process in a courteous manner. OSHA/DEP regulations compliance and annual trainings are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
