KingRecruitingServices in Austin, TX seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is M-F 8am–5pm. Pediatric experience (3–4 years) and a valid Phlebotomy certification are required. The role involves blood draws, specimen handling, labeling, and compliance with lab protocols.

You'll perform workflows, troubleshoot issues, and participate in department trainings, with benefits available for eligible staff.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience performing blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Update patient information as required and handle specimens per protocol.
• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously; demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Ensure accuracy by matching requisitions to specimen tubes and packaging specimens for transport.
