Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification required upon hire; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection and patient preparation with correct ID and specimen integrity.
• Aliquot and label specimens and deliver to the technical area promptly.
• Handle patient registration info and verify demographics and insurance data.
• Maintain quality and complete documentation for patient reporting and quality assurance.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to resolve issues and ensure excellent service.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and a clean, safe work environment.
