Job summary

Foundation Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomy Technician for our Pediatrics department in Fairbanks, Alaska. You will perform specimen collections across Pediatrics, Urology, OB/GYN, and General Surgery, and support the clinic team with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification is required upon hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens with correct patient and specimen identification.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Enter data into the computer system accurately for billing and reporting.
• Assist providers and care team with clinic duties during slower lab periods.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and proper equipment upkeep.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to resolve issues and ensure quality service.
