Talent With Heart in Monroe, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist on a contract basis (approximately 3 months) with potential for permanent hire. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and data recording, with pediatric experience preferred.

The position requires pediatric experience, a state phlebotomy certification, and proficient use of Microsoft Office. Schedule is Mon–Thu 9:00am–6:30pm and Fri 9:00am–1:00pm; benefits are available.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging, and recording maintenance data.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients as required.
• Match lab requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure proper labeling
