Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse to support postoperative and post-anesthesia care in our pediatric ASC network in the Toledo area. You will assess patients, provide nursing care, and monitor recovery under the supervision of dentists and anesthesiologists.

Requirements include an active RN license, accredited nursing education, BLS (AED) on hire, and ACLS/PALS within 60 days. ICU or perioperative experience is preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Current BLS certification at hire; ACLS and PALS within 60 days.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• ICU or perioperative nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care in immediate postoperative/post-anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status upon arrival in recovery.
• Provide care related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patient and communicate concerns to dentist or anesthetist.
