Job summary

CHOC Children's in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Practice Patient Services Representative to greet and assist patients and families through the appointment check-in process. You will help with scheduling, confirmations, and ensure complete information to facilitate visits, interacting with providers, staff, and billing.

The role requires strong communication, prior customer service experience (minimum six months), and proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of customer service, clerical or front office experience.
• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and direct patients and families through the appointment check-in process.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and confirmations; ensure complete information for visits.
• Interact with providers, practice staff, and billing representatives; maintain high-quality customer service.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in a clinical setting.
