Job summary

KidMedVA is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician/Lab Technician to support our pediatric care team. You will document patient charts, take vitals, keep rooms clean and sterile, and collect lab samples while delivering compassionate, age-appropriate care to children and families.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, and pediatric experience (preferred). We offer full benefits, 401(k), and generous PTO in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• One year experience in pediatrics is preferred.
• Emergency/Urgent Care experience is preferred.
• Certification from an approved Medical Assisting program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers in delivering pediatric care.
• Document charts and take patient vitals.
• Ensure rooms remain clean and sterile and obtain lab samples.
• Treat patients and caregivers with respect and dignity.
