Job summary

Boston Brace International, Inc dba OP Specialty Bracing Annapolis, MD seeks a Patient Care Coordinator I to be the first point of contact for patients and referrals, handling check-ins, insurance verification, scheduling, and information with empathy and professionalism.

The role supports clinicians, coordinates with billing, maintains charts in Nymbl software, and ensures HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced pediatric clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associate Degree required.
• Experience in patient scheduling and front-desk coordination preferred.
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality is essential.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out and register patients.
• Verify patient insurance and initiate prior authorizations.
• Coordinate with referral sources to obtain physician schedules.
• Maintain charts using Nymbl software and upload documents.
• Support clinic staff and ensure smooth office flow.
• Schedule and manage appointments and follow-ups.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adapt to a dynamic environment.
