Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a part-time team member in the A7NS Neurology & Neuroscience department to provide approved care under RN supervision, supervise activities of daily living, and assist with 1 on 1 patient observation as needed.

You will support safety, infection control, documentation, and coordination with staff. Rotating shifts, on-site Location A, 12 hours per week, 0.3 FTE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and clinical rotation from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited program.
• Listed on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA with reciprocity within 180 days.
• Listed on Ohio or National EMS Registry.
• 1+ year of patient care experience within the last three years.
• CPR training and certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: provide approved care under RN supervision and assist with interventions.
• Communication: report patient status, document in medical record, and seek guidance as needed.
• Environment: maintain safe, organized spaces and adhere to infection control policies.
• Administrative Support: respond to alarms, answer calls, assemble charts, and stock supplies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent AND clinical rotation (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA)

Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA ( reciprocity within 180 days)

Ohio or National EMS Registry

1+ year patient care experience (last 3 years)

CPR training and certification maintenance
