Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts in our pediatric ambulatory surgery settings in Milwaukee, WI. You will join a close-knit team of nurses, dentists, anesthesiologists, and assistants, delivering safe care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include PACU nursing, post-anesthesia assessment, and collaboration with the dental/anesthesia team to handle any intraoperative needs and potential complications.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
