Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a registered nurse to join our team in Florida. This full-time, day-shift role involves conducting assessments, creating care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary staff.

You will provide education to patients and families, document care accurately, and participate in the Clinical Ladder program that offers salary increases based on experience and advancement. Florida RN license, BLS and PALS required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license issued in Florida.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 1+ acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
